Kuwait and the UAE Announce Their Response to "Hostile Drones" and Iran Confirms Its Forces Are Ready

SadaNews - The world is awaiting Iran's response to the latest U.S. proposals aimed at ending the war, following a relative calm in the Strait of Hormuz after days of sporadic clashes, on the 72nd day of the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington expects to receive Iran's response "very soon," indicating that Tehran "really wants to reach an agreement," while refraining from providing further details regarding developments in the Iranian file.

In contrast, Israeli media reported that Trump promised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to make any concessions regarding Iran's uranium enrichment program, amid Israeli anticipation of the U.S. administration's stance on the future of its relationship with Tehran.

Simultaneously, Iranian television quoted the commander of the aerospace force in the Revolutionary Guards saying that Iranian missiles and drones are now directed at U.S. targets in the region, affirming that the forces are "waiting for orders to fire." The Revolutionary Guards also threatened to target U.S. bases and hostile ships should Iranian oil tankers come under attack.

On the diplomatic front, Qatar called for support for Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at reaching a peace agreement, following a meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Miami.

In a related context, the New York Post revealed, citing informed sources, that Washington offered to ease sanctions imposed on Iran in exchange for halting uranium enrichment and reopening commercial shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz.
