Iranian President Reveals Meeting with Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

SadaNews: Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian stated on Thursday that he recently attended a meeting with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei that lasted two and a half hours, following various statements and speculations regarding the leader's health and his alleged injuries from American and Israeli attacks on Iran.

Bezhakian did not specify the date of the meeting, adding, "What struck me most in this meeting was the Supreme Leader's humble and sincere approach."

He continued, "The leader’s approach in our last meeting turned the atmosphere of dialogue into an environment based on trust and direct communication without barriers."

Bezhakian pointed out, in statements reported by Iranian state media, that Tehran is facing "outside pressures designed to increase economic strain, destabilize internal stability, and weaken national cohesion," as he described it.

The Iranian President stated that "the enemy's goal from its pressures is to create a state of public discontent, push people to take to the streets, and weaken the governing structure," as he expressed it.

Bezhakian blamed the United States, saying, "American officials openly talk about tightening economic pressure on our people with the aim of creating a state of discontent."

He added, "The people have thwarted the enemies' plans despite the conditions of war and the economic pressures they endure."

American officials have long questioned the health status of the new Iranian leader, who has not appeared publicly since being chosen to succeed his father, who was assassinated at the beginning of the American-Israeli war on Iran on February 28 of last year.

US President Donald Trump and other officials have stated multiple times that there are divisions within the governing structure in Iran, due to the leader's absence from the decision-making circle because of his health condition.
