One person killed and others injured in a car accident between two vehicles on Highway 90
SadaNews - A 50-year-old driver of a private car was killed this morning, Sunday, in a head-on collision on Highway 90, near "Moshav Ein Hatzva" in the Arava Valley.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, and two people in the other car were injured. Due to the severity of the accident, rescue personnel who were summoned to the scene had to carry out a complex rescue operation for the driver of one of the vehicles, who was pronounced dead while still inside the wrecked car.
"Magen David Adom" crews confirmed the death of one of the drivers and provided treatment to other injured individuals: a man in his 60s whose condition was described as serious, and a woman in her 60s whose condition was described as moderate. The injured were transported by helicopter to the "Soroka" Medical Center in Be'er Sheva.
The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
