Netanyahu: We have two main threats from Lebanon that we are working to dismantle
Translation from SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday evening that his forces are achieving significant accomplishments in Lebanon.
Netanyahu claimed during the Israeli army's high command conference that the network of missiles threatening all of Israel has been dismantled, indicating that a buffer zone is being established to prevent the possibility of invading the northern areas, and efforts are underway to also prevent the launch of anti-tank missiles.
He stated, as translated by SadaNews, that we aim to change the entire situation in Lebanon.
He added: We are launching attacks now in the buffer zone and to the north of it and north of the Litani.
He continued: We have the freedom to act to thwart immediate and emerging threats.. this is the agreement we made with the United States as well as with the Lebanese government.
He confirmed that the mission is not yet over and that there are still two main threats from Hezbollah, namely missiles and drones.
The Israeli Prime Minister said: This requires integrating operational and technological activity.. the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff know this very well.. we are making a significant technological effort to resolve these issues and if we solve them through the integration of operations and technology, we are actually on our way to dismantling Hezbollah's weaponry because this is their main weapon, this is what remains for them, they have about 10% of the missiles they had at the beginning of the war, but they still disturb the residents of the north, and I greatly appreciate their resilience and strength.
