Zamir: We continue our operations in Lebanon and prepare to resume the war against Iran

He added in a speech during his inspection of his forces in southern Lebanon: We continue to conduct ongoing assessments of the situation and approve plans in both Lebanon and Iran.

He continued, as translated by SadaNews, that in cooperation with the U.S. military, we have inflicted severe damage on the Iranian regime, stripped it of its defensive capabilities, and weakened it, and now we must not allow it to achieve anything in the nuclear file or in the Strait of Hormuz or in other issues on the negotiating table.

He added: We are in a state of maximum alert, and the air force aircraft are armed and ready, targets are set, and we know how we will attack again strongly and immediately.

Regarding Lebanon, Zamir said: We are delivering multiple strikes to Hezbollah.. Hezbollah has incurred more than 1,700 fatalities since the beginning of the campaign, and this is a severe blow to them.

He added: At this time, we are continuing operations in Bint Jbeil and working to cleanse villages in several areas, while forces from three other divisions are working to secure the front line as specified.

He continued: I have instructed that the entire area in southern Lebanon up to the Litani River should be a no-go zone for Hezbollah "terrorists."

He claimed that his forces are achieving significant operational successes and we are advancing and striking Hezbollah while they are retreating.. Hezbollah is weak and isolated in Lebanon, according to him.

He added: We are paying a heavy price, but we understand that this is our mission, and we are moving forward.. We will continue to inflict damage on Hezbollah "terrorists" and destroy their infrastructure, as he put it.
