Cyber Radar Invades the Internet.. 'Anthropic' Artificial Mind Outpaces Hackers

SadaNews - Anthropic has launched "Project Glasswing," a groundbreaking defensive initiative in artificial intelligence. The project represents a "global radar" capable of detecting internet vulnerabilities ahead of human teams. Experts are questioning whether this project is a "digital shield" or an "intelligence weapon."

In exclusive statements to "Al Arabiya.net" and "Al Hadath.net", Dr. Mohamed Mohsen Ramadan, head of the artificial intelligence unit at the Arab Center for Research, described the announcement as a strategic turning point.

He explained that the new model (Claude Mythos Preview) is not merely a software engine, but a "deductive platform" that examines systems and self-infers vulnerabilities.

Dr. Ramadan noted that the model succeeded in a few weeks to detect thousands of high-risk vulnerabilities in major operating systems and browsers, even developing mechanisms to exploit them, demonstrating its capability for innovation and penetration.

The project includes major partners such as Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and JP Morgan. This coalition reflects an understanding that modern threats have surpassed human capabilities, and the bet is now on an "artificial mind" that outpaces hackers.

For his part, Major General Abu Bakr Abdel Karim, former assistant to the Egyptian Minister of Interior, believes that the company's allocation of $100 million to support the use of the model and $4 million for open projects sends a political message to assert "Mythos" as a cornerstone of global security.

He added that the company's discussions with the U.S. government give the project an intelligence aspect, and the "leakage" incident confirms that humans remain the weakest link in digital security. The former assistant to the Minister of Interior warned of the "legislative gap," pointing out that any leaked version of Claude Mythos could turn into "the most dangerous self-operating cyber attack in history."

He concluded that this era is witnessing a redefinition of the concept of defense and attack, and those who possess the "Anthropic Radar" will determine the future of the digital space.
