Crew of "Artemis 2" Lands After First Flight Around the Moon in Over 50 Years
SadaNews - NASA stated that the four astronauts of the "Artemis 2" mission, who are the first humans to travel around the Moon in over 50 years, have safely landed off the coast of California after a 10-day mission.
The astronauts Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Jeremy Hansen, and Reid Wiseman will be received by rescue teams before being airlifted to a U.S. military ship for medical examinations.
The "Orion" spacecraft, carrying the four astronauts, successfully passed the test of its heat shield designed to protect the crew capsule from intense temperatures as it re-entered the Earth's atmosphere.
