Journalist Martyred After Occupation Shelling Hit His Vehicle in Gaza Strip
SadaNews - Journalist Mohammad Washah was martyred this evening, Wednesday, as a result of an Israeli occupation airstrike on his vehicle in the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation aircraft fired at least one missile at journalist Washah's vehicle, who worked as a correspondent for Al Jazeera Mubasher, while he was passing through Al-Rasheed Street near the Nabulski intersection in Gaza City, which resulted in the complete burning of the vehicle and the charring of his body.
The martyred journalist Mohammad Washah was from the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, and he had been working as a journalist for over 20 years, during which he covered the occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip in 2012, 2014, and the current aggression.
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate mourned the martyred journalist Mohammad Washah, condemning this heinous crime, which represents an extension of the media extermination crimes committed by the occupation against journalists in Gaza and throughout Palestine.
The syndicate stated in a statement that the occupation's crimes against journalists had led to the deaths of 262 journalists and media workers since October 2023.
