SadaNews - The great Egyptian media figure, Mona Hilal, General Director of Cultural Programs, has passed away, known for being one of the prominent faces on Egyptian television through the Second Channel for many years.

The late broadcaster was recognized for her composed presence and rose through the ranks of Egyptian television to become the head of the Second Channel and the director of cultural programs.

She left behind a noble humanitarian stance that remained etched in the memory of her colleagues, as she exemplified loyalty to her late husband, the singer Moharram Fouad.

The late broadcaster took great care in coordinating work schedules and altering broadcast times with the assistance of her colleagues, led by broadcaster Fatima Al-Kasbani, to ensure she could fully dedicate herself to supporting her husband during his long illness, affirming that her role as a devoted wife was just as important as her role as a successful broadcaster.

Among her most famous programs was "Theatrical Treasures", which focused on theatre and showcased old plays. She also participated in some artistic works, including "Tales of Him and Her", "So Love Doesn’t Choke", and "A Flower in the Land".
