Human Remains Found on Thai Ship Attacked Near Hormuz Strait
SadaNews - The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Friday, that a team searching for a Thai ship, which was attacked near the Hormuz Strait on March 11, discovered human remains on board.
The Thai ship "Mauari Nari" was targeted by a projectile north of Oman. It was reported that three of its crew members are missing.
The search team for the ship was hired by "Precious" shipping company, the ship's owner.
Neither the company nor the ministry disclosed when the ship was searched or its current location. A previous search operation was revealed on March 30.
The ministry stated that the team was unable to immediately verify the identity of the remains found in a damaged area of the ship.
Since February 28, Gulf countries and Jordan have been subjected to attacks using Iranian drones and missiles, causing damage to civilian assets, including airports, ports, oil facilities, ships, and various buildings, according to official data from the affected countries.
