The Israeli Home Front Command announced the activation of the early warning system after detecting an Iranian missile attack targeting northern Israel, while the Israeli army confirmed that it detected the attack and is working to intercept the rockets.
Meanwhile, Iranian television confirmed that Iranian rockets are reaching Haifa despite Trump’s recent statements about destroying their missile capabilities.
Targeting Continues..
Early today, just minutes after the conclusion of U.S. President Donald Trump’s speech in which he announced the destruction of Iranian capabilities and "ending the Iranian missile program," the Iranian response was swift when state television announced that Iranian rockets had reached the port of Haifa.
For its part, the newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that Israel intercepted an Iranian missile launched towards the northern part of the country immediately after Trump's speech about the ongoing war on Iran. The Israeli Home Front confirmed the sounding of sirens in Yeruham in the Upper Galilee after detecting rocket launches.
The Israeli occupation army announced - this Thursday morning - that its air defenses intercepted three rocket salvos launched by Iran within a few hours, resulting in four people sustaining minor injuries and damage to sites in the Tel Aviv area.
Israeli media clarified that the damage was caused by cluster munitions that explode in the air and spread small bombs, while police elements were called to nine affected sites, according to Israeli media reports.
Before Trump's speech, Iranian media reported - this Thursday - the launch of a new wave of rockets towards the occupied territories, in a move that local media described as a response to "extreme and unreasonable demands" made by the U.S. side to end military operations.
The Israeli ambulance service reported that it dealt with 11 sites in the Greater Tel Aviv area where shrapnel fell as a result of the Iranian missile attack, confirming an increase in injuries in Bnei Brak to 3, one of which is serious.
Trump spoke - in a televised address directed at the American people from the White House early this Thursday - confirming that the United States is proceeding with its military operations against Iran, emphasizing the continuation of the "epic fury operation" until all American objectives are achieved, while considering that the strategic objectives of the war are now close to realization.
