Occupation Forces Shoot Palestinian at Anabta Checkpoint Claiming Attempted Ramming
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces shot a Palestinian on Monday morning at the military checkpoint near the town of Anabta in the Tulkarm district, alleging an attempt to ram soldiers at the checkpoint.
Palestinian eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation forces fired at a Palestinian civilian vehicle near the "Anab" military checkpoint east of Tulkarm city, indicating that the shooting by the occupation soldiers occurred as the vehicle passed near the checkpoint.
In contrast, Channel 14 in Israel reported that the army shot at a Palestinian near Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, alleging an attempted ramming operation.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army announced that the forces deployed near Tulkarm within the "Efraim" brigade spotted a Palestinian who accelerated his vehicle towards the soldiers in a manner that posed a direct threat to them.
The spokesperson added that the forces fired at the Palestinian and managed to "neutralize" him, confirming that no injuries were reported among the army during the incident.
