89 Martyrs Among the Prisoners Since the Start of the Genocide War, Including 52 Detainees from Gaza
SadaNews - The Palestinian Prisoner Club announced that the number of martyrs from the prisoner movement has risen to 89 known martyrs since the beginning of the genocide war, including 52 detainees from the Gaza Strip, following the martyrdom of prisoner Marwan Harz Allah from Nablus yesterday.
The Prisoner Club clarified in a statement issued today, Sunday, that these martyrs rose due to crimes of torture, starvation, medical neglect, systematic sexual assaults, in addition to a series of violations, including deprivation, theft, maltreatment, humiliation, and detention under inhumane conditions that affect human dignity.
The Prisoner Club indicated that many of the detainees from Gaza who were martyred are still under the crime of enforced disappearance, alongside dozens of others who have been executed on-site, noting that the images of the bodies of the martyrs and their remains, which were delivered after the ceasefire, served as evidence of systematic executions outside the framework of the law.
It confirmed that this phase is the bloodiest in the history of the Palestinian prisoner movement, pointing out that the number of its martyrs since 1967 (whose identities are known) has risen to 326 martyrs.
It added that the number of martyrs among the prisoners whose bodies are held and whose identities are known has risen to 97 martyrs, of whom 86 have been since the start of the genocide war.
