Thailand announces an agreement with Iran for its ships to cross the Hormuz Strait

SadaNews - Thailand announced today (Saturday) that it has reached an agreement with Iran allowing its oil tankers to pass through the strategic Hormuz Strait, which Tehran has effectively closed since the start of the war in the Middle East.

The Thai Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, stated at a press conference, "An agreement has currently been reached allowing Thai oil tankers to transit safely through the Hormuz Strait, which helps alleviate concerns about fuel supplies to Thailand."
