A Fatality in Tel Aviv and Israeli-American Attacks on Steel and Nuclear Plants in Iran
Sada News - A man in his sixties was killed, and several injuries occurred due to projectiles from an Iranian cluster missile falling in the Tel Aviv area on Friday night to Saturday. Israel and the United States launched attacks on factories related to steel and nuclear activities in several Iranian provinces, including Isfahan, Khuzestan, Yazd, and Arak, in the latest escalation of the ongoing war and attacks against Iranian facilities, factories, and civil, military, and nuclear infrastructure since February 28. Israeli security agencies indicate that "important factories form part of the valuable Iranian military industrial chain and are partially owned by the Revolutionary Guard."
The Israeli army acknowledged attacking a heavy water factory in Arak province in central Iran, stating in a press release, "Heavy water is a unique material used to operate nuclear reactors such as the inactive reactor in Arak, which was originally planned to have the capacity to produce military-grade plutonium. This material is also used as a source for extracting neutrons for nuclear weapon purposes."
It also announced the attack on a factory located in Yazd province in central Iran, which works on extracting uranium from ores, stating in a press release, "This factory is the only one of its kind in Iran, where the raw materials extracted from the earth undergo mechanical and chemical processing before being used later as raw materials in the uranium enrichment process."
The American "Bloomberg" channel reported from informed sources that the Trump administration assured its allies that it does not currently plan a ground invasion of Iran, even with the deployment of thousands of troops, while indicating at the same time that the American president could change his mind at any moment or decide to launch a ground attack.
