Civil Defense: We dealt with 270 incidents of falling shrapnel, mostly in Ramallah and al-Bireh
SadaNews - Central Operations Administration of the Civil Defense reported until this Thursday morning, 26/3/2026, that the total incidents of falling rocket shrapnel in the provinces of the homeland since the outbreak of events until this morning amounted to about 270 incidents, distributed across most provinces at varying degrees.
The statistics indicated that the province of Ramallah and al-Bireh topped the list of areas with the most recorded incidents, with 87 incidents, followed by Salfit with 40 incidents, then Bethlehem with 30, Nablus with 29, and Hebron with 26 incidents, while the remaining incidents were recorded in the provinces of Jenin, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Jericho, Jerusalem, and Tubas.
Regarding losses, the most significant damages concentrated in the province of Hebron, which witnessed the most severe incident, resulting in the fall of four martyrs and several injuries, in addition to material damages in homes and properties. There were also sporadic damages recorded in several provinces, including homes, vehicles, agricultural facilities, and infrastructure, along with minor injuries in some cases.
The Civil Defense confirms that the Civil Defense and police crews continue to deal with these incidents, securing the sites and removing dangers, urging citizens to exercise caution and report any suspicious objects.
