A joint statement from the Israeli army and Shin Bet, according to SadaNews translation, stated: "During the investigation, a large quantity of weapons was seized from the cell, including M16 rifles, explosives, and ready-to-trigger bombs." The statement added, "During the interrogation, information was obtained indicating that the cell members carried out a series of attacks, including explosive device attacks against Israeli army forces that occurred in March and April 2025, during which three soldiers were injured, two of them critically." It was clarified that the cell members participated in several shooting attacks and were preparing to execute additional major bombing attacks, including intentions to carry out a kidnapping and hold the abductee in a tunnel they dug for the plan.
