Iran Launches New Rocket Attacks on Northern and Central Israel

SadaNews - The Israeli home front confirmed that the sound of sirens extended to southern Israel and the Gaza envelope, following the detection of rocket launches from Iran.

Iran launched a new rocket attack on northern Israel last night and this morning. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that early warnings sounded in the Tiberias, Galilee, southern Haifa, and the northern coastal plain areas, while sirens were activated in Haifa, the Galilee, and the Golan Heights following the detection of the Iranian rocket attack.

The spokesman for the Iranian Quds Force announced that an Iranian attack on Monday morning targeted Israeli aerospace industries near Ben Gurion Airport using drones, as part of coordinated operations against Israeli targets.

The Israeli army confirmed intercepting an Iranian missile targeting northern Israel, with its debris falling in the Safed area without causing damage, while Israeli media reported missile debris falling in 8 different locations in central Israel.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Iranian cluster missile caused significant destruction in the city of Petah Tikva east of Tel Aviv, and a fire broke out in the town of Nir Am in the Gaza envelope due to the fall of an Iranian missile.

Haaretz newspaper added that the cluster missile was launched from Iran and its debris fell in several sites in central and southern Israel.

Israeli ambulance teams were dispatched to the sites where debris fell, according to Channel 12, to assess the damage and provide assistance.

This attack represents the 75th wave of missile attacks announced by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard - according to its statements - confirming its targeting of new military concentration sites of the Israeli army. Israeli media indicated that the recent attack targeted central and southern Israel, with attempts to intercept a missile in the Negev region.

Israeli Broadcasting Authority highlighted that the Iranian rocket attacks are coordinated with Hezbollah, targeting areas in northern Israel, while Israel Hayom reported that an Iranian missile fell in an open area in the north of the country without any injuries.

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that its hospitals have received - since the start of Operation "Lion's Roar" - 4,713 injured persons, with 153 new injuries reported in the past 24 hours due to rocket barrages, including two serious cases, two medium cases, and 140 minor injuries.

123 injured individuals continue to receive treatment in hospitals, including 15 serious cases and 27 medium cases, and 8 cases of panic have been recorded due to the recent shelling targeting central and northern Israel.

In contrast, the Israeli army announced a wave of attacks on infrastructure in the Iranian capital Tehran, and the Iranian Fars Agency reported that five airstrikes targeted northern, central, eastern, and western Tehran, while Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported hearing strong explosions in the city with air defenses activated.

Additionally, Iranian news agency Mehr confirmed the death of one person and the injury of another due to an American-Israeli attack that targeted the radio transmission tower of the Bandar Abbas center in southern Iran, and Fars Agency mentioned the death and injury of several people following an airstrike that hit a residential area in Khorramabad in the west of the country.

Iran's Tasnim news agency reported today that the meteorological administration building in Bushehr was subjected to attacks carried out by the United States and Israel.

For his part, a deputy governor of Lorestan announced the death of 6 civilians and the injury of 43 others due to an attack carried out by American and Israeli forces on homes in the city of Khorramabad, also confirming that the attack resulted in the destruction of 4 houses and temporary power outages in the area.
