Settlers Attack Burqa Village and Set Fire to Clinic and Truck

SadaNews - Settlers attacked Burqa village east of Ramallah just before midnight last night, setting fire to the village's health clinic and a commercial truck, causing material damage and creating panic among the locals.

Local sources reported that the settlers stormed the village suddenly, under the protection of occupation forces, which led to panic and tension among the village's residents.

Recently, the Palestinian presidency strongly condemned the terrorist attacks perpetrated by settler gangs against villages, communities, and camps in the West Bank, asserting that these assaults represent a serious escalation for which the Israeli occupation government bears full responsibility.

It emphasized that the ongoing killings of citizens, burning of properties, and acts of violence constitute a systematic and organized action occurring under the protection of occupation forces and supported by the extremist right-wing government, aimed at implementing annexation and racial expansion plans and displacement, underscoring the importance of activating and supporting popular protection committees.

The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Minister Muayad Shaban, stated that the settlers have carried out a total of 192 attacks during the two weeks of the ongoing war and regional tensions, adding that the settlers' exploitation of this tumultuous climate to intensify their assaults on Palestinian villages and communities has taken on a more organized and expansive nature, including direct gunfire at citizens, burning of homes and properties, and imposing new realities on the ground. He added that these attacks have become part of a broader dynamic seeking to exploit the moment of regional and international distraction to accelerate changes in the geographic and demographic reality in the West Bank at the expense of the Palestinian presence.
