Death of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Spokesman in US-Israeli Airstrike

SadaNews - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard mourned on Friday its spokesman, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, who was killed in a US-Israeli airstrike according to Iranian television.

The Revolutionary Guard issued a statement expressing "congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the Deputy Director of Public Relations and spokesman of the Guard," stating: "We offer our congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the prominent fighter in the field of culture and media, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, Deputy Director of Public Relations and spokesman of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, who ascended to martyrdom in the crime resulting from the cowardly terrorist attack by the Americans and Zionists on the last dawn of Ramadan. We extend our condolences to the esteemed Islamic Revolution Leader, the family of the honored martyr, all the distinguished leaders and guards of the Islamic Revolution, the media people, and the people mourning in the Kashan area."

The statement added: "The sincere services of this brave and diligent commander over more than four decades in the fields of guarding the Islamic Revolution, especially in the area of propaganda during the imposed tight war that lasted for 8 years, documenting and narrating the sacred defense, and holding the position of spokesman for the Revolutionary Guards during the past two years and in the operations 'Promise of Truth 2, 3, and 4', have recorded for him a prominent and eternal image in the history of jihad and sacrifice. His developmental views and effective models in the fields of 'soft warfare' will remain a guide for the Revolutionary Guards and cognitive warfare officers against the oppressors."

It continued: "We honor the pure spirit of that brave and devoted commander, and we pledge to God to honor his ongoing sacrifices and the sacrifice of his martyr brother, to continue their steadfast path and desperate hope in combating the criminal terrorists, especially in the soft and cognitive fields, and we will never allow the voice of the great popular guard to stop in the hearts of the believers, nor will we allow any disruption in the soft and moral power of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards."
