Attacks on Energy Facilities in Iran
SadaNews - Israel and the United States carried out joint airstrikes on energy facilities by targeting gas infrastructure in Iran. Iranian media reported on an Israeli-American attack on petrochemical facilities in the South Pars field, following a statement by Israeli security minister Israel Katz, who promised major surprises today that he claimed would escalate the war against Iran and Hezbollah.
Iran renewed its missile strikes towards Israel today, Wednesday, which triggered sirens in several towns in northern and western Galilee, as well as at the border with Lebanon. Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced the assassination of Iranian intelligence minister Ismail Khatib in an airstrike on the capital Tehran late Tuesday into Wednesday; it stated that "Khatib oversaw the terrorist activities of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence against Israeli and American targets around the world, as well as against targets inside Israel during the 'Roar of the Lion' operation."
This comes after 19 days of the Israeli-American war on Iran, with reports of casualties in Israel, including the deaths of two people and injuries to others as a result of missile attacks on Ramat Gan south of Tel Aviv, in addition to destruction in the area of Holon, following a fierce attack launched by Iran in response to the assassination of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani.
