Trump: I Support the Entry of Iranian Kurdish Forces into Iran
SadaNews - President Donald Trump said in a phone interview with NBC News on Thursday evening that sending ground troops to Iran would be a "waste of time."
He clarified that sending ground troops to Iran is a "waste of time. They have lost everything. They lost their navy. They lost everything they could lose." The American president encouraged Iranian Kurdish forces in Iraq to attack Iran as the conflict in the Middle East widens. In response to the possibility of Iranian Kurdish forces entering Iran, Trump told Reuters on Thursday, "I think it's great that they want to do that, and I fully support them."
Security sources reported that two Iranian drone attacks targeted an Iranian opposition camp in Kurdish Iraq on Thursday. Three informed sources stated that Iranian Kurdish militias have consulted with the United States in recent days on whether to attack Iranian security forces in the western part of the country and how to carry it out.
Sources reported that a coalition of Iranian Kurdish groups is stationed along the border between Iran and Iraq within the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq, where they are conducting training in preparation for such an attack in hopes of weakening the Iranian military, while the United States and Israel continue to target Iranian sites with bombs and missiles.
