Iran Bombs Kurdish Sites in Iraq and Targets American Oil Tanker in the Strait of Hormuz
SadaNews - Iran announced today, Thursday, that it targeted the sites of opposition Kurdish groups in the Kurdistan region of Iraq with three missiles, following airstrikes on Kurdish areas in Iran and Iraq, according to Iranian state media.
An informed security source denied to the Tasnim news agency the entry of armed Kurdish elements across the border into Iranian territory, confirming that the United States and Israel are currently seeking to undermine the morale of the Iranian people through psychological warfare after their failure on the ground.
He added that security is fully maintained along the Ilam province border with Iraq, and that military and security forces are fully defending the country's sovereignty and borders, urging citizens to follow news through reliable media and not to worry about the enemy's psychological campaigns.
Additionally, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced on Thursday morning that, in cooperation with the Revolutionary Guard, it destroyed targets belonging to separatist groups that tried to infiltrate across the western border.
The ministry confirmed that these groups attempted to exploit the war with the support of the American and Israeli enemy.
The ministry emphasized that it is monitoring all movements on the border and will thwart any plans by the American Zionist enemy and its mercenaries.
In this context, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it targeted an American oil tanker north of the Gulf waters, noting that it is currently on fire.
It confirmed that navigation and transit through the Strait of Hormuz during wartime will be under its control according to international laws.
The Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) quoted a military official in Iran saying that Tehran may target the Dimona nuclear reactor in Israel if Israel and the United States seek to change the regime in the Islamic Republic.
