SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army announced today (Wednesday) that it has begun launching "broad" strikes on Tehran. The Israeli army stated in a brief statement that it has commenced "extensive airstrikes targeting infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran."

According to the army's statement, this wave of strikes is the "tenth (on Tehran) since the start" of the joint Israeli-American attack on Iran starting Saturday.

The Israeli forces announced today (Wednesday) that they targeted dozens of sites in Tehran, including sites belonging to the semi-military Basij forces and the country's internal security forces.

The Israeli army stated via the "Telegram" app: "The Israeli Air Force has just completed, based on Israeli army intelligence, an additional wave of strikes targeting command centers of the Iranian terrorist regime throughout Tehran."

It added: "As part of these strikes, the Israeli army dropped dozens of munitions on the Basij and internal security centers under the Iranian terrorist regime."

In related news, an explosion was heard this morning (Wednesday) in the northeast of Tehran, according to reporters from the French Press Agency, on the fifth day of the American-Israeli attack on Iran. Iranian state television reported a strong explosion without providing further details so far. A reporter from the French Press Agency in Tehran saw a plume of smoke rising in the northeast of the city and heard the sounds of warplanes around 11:15 AM.

Earlier today (Wednesday), the Israeli army announced that it had conducted airstrikes on "dozens" of Iranian security command centers, targeting various sites in the capital Tehran.

The army clarified in a statement that "the Israeli Air Force carried out an additional wave of strikes targeting command centers belonging to the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran," including sites associated with internal security and the Basij forces linked to the "Revolutionary Guard."

For its part, the "Revolutionary Guard" announced today (Wednesday) that it launched more than 40 missiles at American and Israeli targets, according to what the "French Press Agency" reported.

The large military operation against Iran began with coordination between the United States and Israel, leading to regional escalation with Tehran firing missiles at several Gulf countries.
