Occupation Tightens Military Measures in the West Bank Governorates
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces intensified their military measures today, Saturday, at most entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces tightened their procedures around Ramallah and Al-Bireh, closing several checkpoints to citizen movement in both directions, including: Ein Sinia, Attara, Abboud, Yabrud, the entrance to Rawabi, and prevented citizens from entering or exiting.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces closed the southern entrance to the city "Al-Nashash" with an iron gate, causing disruption to citizens' movement and imposing restrictions on them.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Nashash entrance links the cities of Bethlehem and Hebron, as well as Bethlehem and its southern countryside.
According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has exceeded 916, including 243 gates that were established after October 7, 2023.
