Iranian President Talks About "Positive Outlook" Ahead of Geneva Talks
SadaNews - On Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian expressed his optimism ahead of the resumption of talks with the United States in Geneva, noting a "positive outlook" in the negotiating pathway, particularly regarding Tehran's nuclear program.
State television reported Bezhakian as saying: "We see a positive outlook." He added that his country "continues on this path under the supervision of the Supreme Leader (Ali Khamenei), aiming to emerge from the state of 'no war and no peace'."
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has departed for Geneva, accompanied by the negotiating team, to participate in the third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States.
This round is scheduled to take place on Thursday in Geneva, under the auspices of Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi, who is hosting the meetings.
The American side in the negotiations is represented by Steve Whitecov and Jared Kushner.
