Trump considers the option of allowing Iran to "symbolically enrich"

SadaNews - On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his call for Iran to negotiate, stating that the best option for Iran is to negotiate a fair deal, noting in his remarks that "the Iranian leaders are different from the people," as he described. These statements come just hours after he threatened to resort to military force.

This comes as Axios reported that a U.S. official stated that President Trump is considering several military options, including an attack on Iran at any moment, and directly targeting Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

However, the source added that the Trump administration is prepared to consider a proposal allowing Iran to symbolically enrich uranium, provided that this does not leave any potential avenue for acquiring a nuclear bomb, confirming that they are waiting for proposals from Tehran before holding another round of talks.

The website mentioned, citing the same source, that Trump is ready to accept a substantial political deal with Iran if they present an offer that cannot be refused; otherwise, American patience will not last.

In this context, media outlets reported a knowledgeable U.S. official stating that the United States did not evacuate hundreds of soldiers from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, nor did it evacuate any of its bases in Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is stationed, denying reports that have circulated regarding this matter.

The U.S. aircraft carrier Gerald Ford has reached the Mediterranean Sea, and satellite images have shown the carrier sailing toward the Middle East, after U.S. officials said last week that this carrier and its strike group would be sent from the Caribbean to the region.

In the U.S. military buildup as well, military aircraft were spotted on the runway of Lajes Air Base in Terceira Island in the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean, coinciding with Washington enhancing its military presence amid rising tensions with Iran.

President Trump has stated that it would be better for Iran to negotiate a fair deal, affirming that he is considering launching a limited strike against Iran and is currently studying the matter.
