Trump to Order Release of Documents Related to Flying Saucers and Extraterrestrial Beings

SadaNews - President Donald Trump stated late Thursday to Friday that he will instruct federal agencies to begin "identifying and releasing" government files related to flying saucers and extraterrestrial beings, a step that Americans have been demanding for decades.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, "Given the tremendous interest the subject has generated, I will ask the Secretary of Defense and other relevant departments and agencies to start the process of identifying and releasing government files related to life beyond Earth, unidentified aerial phenomena, and flying saucers."

The U.S. President had earlier confirmed on Thursday that his predecessor Barack Obama revealed "classified information" when he casually mentioned in a podcast that extraterrestrial beings exist. Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One during his trip to Georgia, "He took the discussion from classified information... he shouldn't have done that. He made a terrible mistake."

During an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen published on Saturday, Obama was asked if aliens are real. Obama responded, "They are real, but I haven't seen them, and they're not held up in... Area 51. There is no underground facility unless there's a massive conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States."

Area 51 is a secret facility operated by the Air Force in Nevada, and some speculate that it contains the bodies of extraterrestrial beings and a crashed spacecraft. CIA archives released in 2013 indicated it was a site for testing highly classified spy planes.

In a post on Sunday, Obama clarified what he meant and said that the odds of life beyond Earth are high considering the vastness of the universe. He added that the odds of an extraterrestrial visit to Earth are slim given the vast distances involved.

In response to a question about whether he had seen evidence of aliens, Trump said, "I don't know if they are real or not."
