Settler Attacks Force 15 Families to Leave Their Homes in Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta West of Jericho
SadaNews - Ongoing settler assaults on the village of Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta, west of Jericho, have forced 15 families to flee their homes, coinciding with land leveling operations that affected areas around them.
A member of Fatah's secretariat in Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta, Issam Samrat, told the official agency that the affected families found themselves compelled to leave their homes, which are made of tin and some cement, in the area of "Ashtiah" under the threat of settlers who have plowed and leveled the lands surrounding their homes to cultivate them and prevent citizens from using them.
According to the Beder Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, the 15 families belong to the Al-Ara’ra family, noting that the leveling operations have caused direct damage to agricultural lands.
