Presidency: We condemn the occupation's plans to legitimize colonial farms
SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, stated that the remarks made by Katz, announcing the occupation government's intention to legitimize more than 140 colonial farms in the West Bank, are "condemned and rejected, and represent a significant escalation in implementing the policy of annexation and racial expansion by the occupation authorities."
Abu Rudeineh added that the declaration by the occupation to convert these colonial farms comes within the framework of a gradual Israeli plan aimed at expelling Palestinian residents from their residential pastoral communities and implementing attempts of annexation and displacement.
He affirmed that all forms of colonialism are illegal in the occupied Palestinian territory according to international legitimacy and international law, especially United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.
The official spokesperson for the presidency indicated that what are referred to as agricultural farms are colonial outposts that continue acts of terrorism carried out by colonizers under the protection and support of the occupation army, holding the occupation government fully responsible for the ramifications of this escalation, which aims to undermine international efforts to stop the escalation and restore calm to the situation.
Abu Rudeineh called on the international community, especially the U.S. administration, to intervene immediately to stop these Israeli policies aimed at sabotaging international efforts to halt the escalation and calm the situation, urging international legal institutions to fulfill their responsibilities regarding the enforcement of international law and international legitimacy.
