Netanyahu's Office Rejects Gaza Management Committee Logo: Israel Will Not Accept the Palestinian Authority Symbol
SadaNews - The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the logo published tonight by the Gaza Management Committee differs completely from the logo previously presented to Israel, affirming that Israel will not accept the use of any symbol belonging to the Palestinian Authority.
The statement added that the Palestinian Authority will not be a partner in the management of Gaza, in a clear indication of its rejection of any official role in the upcoming phase.
The original logo of the National Committee for Gaza Management (NCAG) carried a symbolic character reflecting national identity; it included a bird in the colors of the Palestinian flag (black, white, green, and red), with a simplified city background symbolizing local governance and the reconstruction of Gaza. The writing was in both Arabic and English to affirm the official nature and the international dimension of the committee, before the new logo was later adopted.
