The Martyrdom of Released Prisoner Khaled Al-Sayyafi from Dheisheh
SadaNews - Released prisoner Khaled Al-Sayyafi (67 years old) from Dheisheh refugee camp/Bethlehem was martyred a week after his release from the "Ramla prison clinic," while in a critical health condition.
The martyr had spent four months in his last administrative detention, noting that the occupation arrested him administratively twice since the onset of the genocide, despite his advanced age and dire need for medical care and treatment.
Since his release, the martyr had been lying in critical condition at the Consultant Hospital due to the torture, abuse, starvation, and denial of treatment he faced inside the occupation's prisons; a new crime added to the record of slow extermination crimes practiced by the occupation's prison system against detainees and prisoners.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club and the Prisoners' Affairs Authority held the occupation fully responsible for the martyrdom of Khaled Al-Sayyafi, affirming that his elimination was conducted through the arbitrary policy of administrative detention and the denial of treatment.
