Iran Threatens the United States and Israel, the Latter Believes Trump Will Change the Regime

SadaNews - The political advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Shamkhani, stated on Wednesday that "any American military action is considered the beginning of war".

Shamkhani said on his account on the platform "X": "A limited strike is an illusion. Any military action by the United States, from any source and at any level, is regarded as the beginning of war".

The advisor to Khamenei emphasized that the response to any military action "will be immediate, comprehensive, and unprecedented, targeting the heart of Tel Aviv and all supporters".

For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi mentioned that "the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression".

He confirmed that "Iran has always welcomed a fair and just nuclear agreement that benefits both parties and is based on mutual respect, free from coercion and threats".

Meanwhile, the Hebrew channel Keshet 12 reported that sources in Israel estimate that U.S. President Donald Trump is hinting that he is considering taking extensive action against Iran, including regime change, as translated by SadaNews.

It was noted that Netanyahu will hold a security meeting tomorrow, Thursday, regarding Gaza and Iran.

On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump escalated his rhetoric towards Iran, announcing that a military fleet is rapidly heading towards the region amid his fears of a slide towards a new military confrontation.

Trump tweeted on his account on the "Truth Social" platform on Wednesday, stating that "a massive fleet is now moving towards Iran at a great speed", adding that this fleet "is larger than that sent previously to Venezuela", referring to the scale of military power being amassed by the United States at this stage.

Despite the escalation tone, Trump was keen to keep the door of diplomacy open, expressing his hope that "Iran would come to the negotiating table", which observers viewed as an attempt to combine maximum pressure policy and military threat on one hand, and pushing for a political settlement on the other.

Trump also warned that any forthcoming American attack on Iran would be "much worse", emphasizing: "As I told Iran before, reach an agreement! They did not, and there was the 'midnight hammer operation', which led to massive destruction for Iran. The next attack will be much worse! Don't allow that to happen. Thank you for your attention to this matter".
