SadaNews - Egypt welcomed today, Wednesday, the invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to join the Gaza Peace Council, announcing its acceptance of the invitation.
Egypt emphasized in a statement from the Foreign Ministry its support for the mission of the Peace Council within the framework of the second phase of the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in the sector, expressing appreciation for the American president and his commitment to ending the war in Gaza and establishing security, peace, and stability in the Middle East.
Cairo also reinforced its ongoing efforts in coordination with the United States and partners to ensure the stabilization of the ceasefire in Gaza, the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid without restrictions, and the deployment of an international stabilization force.
