Message of Support: Egyptian Foreign Minister Receives Head of Gaza Management Committee
SadaNews - Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Egyptians Abroad, received Dr. Ali Shath, the head of the National Committee for Gaza Management, on Monday, January 19, where he congratulated him on assuming his position as the head of the national committee concerned with the management of the sector, wishing him success in his duties.
Ambassador Tamim Khlaaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Minister Abdel Aati expressed full support to the committee's president and all its members, given their responsibilities during this critical phase. He emphasized the importance of the role played by the National Committee for Gaza in managing the daily affairs of the residents of the sector and meeting their basic needs, in preparation for the return of the Palestinian Authority to fully assume its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2803.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the formation of the committee and the expertise of its members in ensuring efficient institutional performance and achieving administrative stability during the transitional phase, affirming that Egypt will continue to provide full support to its Palestinian brothers during this critical phase that the Palestinian cause is going through.

Minister Abdel Aati pointed to the necessity of completing the necessary steps to implement the remaining commitments of the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan, foremost of which is the formation and deployment of an international stability force, continuing to supply the sector with humanitarian and relief assistance, and paving the way for early recovery and reconstruction.
The Foreign Minister also stressed the importance of maintaining the unity of the Palestinian territory, ensuring geographical and administrative connectivity between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and achieving a comprehensive and fair resolution to the Palestinian cause, affirming complete rejection of any attempts to divide the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Dr. Ali Shath expressed his deep appreciation to the President of the Republic and the Egyptian government for Egypt's supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, and for the support that Egypt has provided at both the political and humanitarian levels during this pivotal phase the Palestinian cause is experiencing.
