Occupation launches a campaign of arrests and field investigations targeting 45 citizens in the West Bank

SadaNews - The Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated that the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out arrest operations against citizens in the West Bank as part of the comprehensive aggression against our people and systematic collective revenge operations. Since yesterday evening until this morning, Wednesday, the occupation forces have launched a wide-ranging campaign of arrests and field investigations, targeting at least 45 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The arrest operations were concentrated in the towns of Qabatiya/Jenin, and Deir al-Hatab/Nablus, and the Shuafat refugee camp/Jerusalem, while the rest were distributed across the governorates of Tulkaram, Jericho, Hebron, and Salfit.

The Prisoners' Club added that the arrest and field investigation operations are accompanied by systematic abuses and assaults against the detainees and their families, in addition to using detainees as hostages and extensive sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes. It pointed out that the occupation forces blew up the house of prisoner Ahmed Abu Rubb in the town of Qabatiya/Jenin early this morning, who was arrested last December.

It is worth mentioning that the occupation authorities are continuing to carry out arrest operations, which represent the most prominent consistent and systematic policies that are implemented daily against citizens, affecting all segments of Palestinian society. The number of arrests in the West Bank reached approximately 21,000 cases after the genocide war.
