Hamas Delegation Arrives in Cairo to Discuss Phase Two
SadaNews - A delegation from Hamas arrived this evening, Tuesday, in the Egyptian capital Cairo to hold discussions with Egyptian officials.
Hamas stated in a press release that the delegation arrived to discuss with the Egyptian leadership the completion of implementing the terms of the ceasefire agreement and to continue with the first phase, including the opening of the Rafah crossing in both directions.
The delegation will also discuss expediting entry into the second phase, which includes the formation of the administrative committee and the completion of the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.
The delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with leaders of Palestinian forces and factions to discuss the rapidly evolving political and field developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
