Egypt's Representative Professions Syndicate Head Reveals Details About Sherine's Absence

SadaNews - Amid rising questions among the fans of Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab regarding her whereabouts and fate, Ashraf Zaki, head of the Representative Professions Syndicate in Egypt, revealed some details.

Zaki explained in a phone call with the "Al-Hekaya" program on MBC last night that he met Sherine at her home a few days ago, where they sat and talked.

He also confirmed that she is fine, but she does not wish to go out at the moment or communicate widely with friends. He stated that she "is not currently in the mood to go out."

He added that he tried to persuade her to go out a bit, but she refused, assuring him that her situation might change later.

Her Children Are Visiting Her

Additionally, he noted that he is in contact with her, indicating that she is not alone at home and "has people with her," and that her children will visit her soon.

Sherine had disappeared from the artistic and media scene, raising concerns among her audience and fans, with hashtags circulating on social media like "#Where_Is_Sherine" and "#Search_for_Sherine."

However, she clarified in a post on her Instagram account last month that she is "fine," denying all circulating claims about the deterioration of her health.

She described the situation as "silly rumors" and threatened to take legal action against those spreading the rumors.

A source close to the artist previously confirmed that she is suffering from severe depression and is isolating herself in her home, where she only communicates with her two daughters.

Last year, Sherine went through a severe dispute with her brother Mohamed, which reached the point of filing a complaint against him, including a request for a legal undertaking to not approach her.

She has also faced several emotional crises with her ex-husband, Hossam Habib.
