Occupation Forces Storm Birzeit: 3 Injured by Live Ammo
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces stormed the campus of Birzeit University in the Ramallah district this Tuesday afternoon.
According to press sources, the occupation soldiers assaulted university students by firing tear gas and live ammunition at them, resulting in injuries to three students.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, they dealt with three injuries from live ammunition in the legs, and the injured were transported to the hospital.
The sources also added that the occupation forces confiscated equipment for the student movement that was prepared for an event in support of prisoners.
During the storming, soldiers detained the Vice President of Birzeit University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Asem Khalil, and assaulted journalists Mutesem Saqf al-Hayt and Karim Khamaisa.
