President Abbas Discusses Latest Developments with Lebanese Prime Minister
SadaNews - A phone call took place between the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam.
During the call, which took place on Thursday, both sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the New Year.
The President expressed his pride in the historic fraternal relations that connect Palestine and Lebanon, and his continuous desire to develop and elevate these ties.
He appreciated Lebanon's supportive positions regarding the Palestinian cause and its people, and their legitimate rights to freedom and independence, wishing that the new year would be a year of goodness and stability for Lebanon, Palestine, and all the peoples of the region.
For his part, the Lebanese Prime Minister affirmed his country's steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people to achieve their independence and establish their state on their Palestinian land.
