Negev: Ben Gvir Storms the Tarabin al-Sanay Village in the Negev for the Third Time This Week
SadaNews - The Israeli Minister of National Security, the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir, stormed the Tarabin al-Sanay village in the occupied Negev for the third time this week, accompanied by reinforced forces from the occupation police.
During his provocative tour, Ben Gvir stated: "We will continue the operation in Tarabin and the Negev, and the option available to those who disrupt public order is to raise the white flag."
He asserted that "for 30 years, there has been neglect of the Negev and this area has been abandoned. The police have never entered these places, and those who do not comply with the law, we will crush them, and the police will deal with them, and the national guard will settle the matter," according to Ben Gvir.
Ben Gvir stormed the village and provoked the residents, while the police continue their raids under an operation they called "New Order", which included arrests, issuing traffic violations, and demolition orders for buildings in the village.
According to the occupation police, they arrested 24 young men, enforced 87 traffic violations, and issued 23 demolition orders in the village.
This morning, Wednesday, the police announced the continuation of what is called the "New Order" operation in Tarabin, under the supervision of Police Commissioner Dani Levy and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, with the participation of hundreds of police officers, "border guards", and their special units, under the pretext of "enhancing security and enforcing order".
The campaign has so far resulted in the arrest of 24 individuals, including 4 minors, on suspicion of "throwing stones", in addition to recording 87 traffic violations and issuing 23 demolition notices for buildings.
The police threatened to continue intensive activities and deal with "an iron fist" against what they described as "acts of violence and disruption of public order", at a time when tensions in the area are rising amidst accusations against security agencies of exercising collective punishment against the residents.
