The U.S. Sends More Warplanes to Israel and Agrees to Broader Negotiations
Translation by SadaNews - Hebrew television channels reported on Wednesday evening that the United States will send more advanced warplanes to Israel.
According to Channel 12, six F-22 planes will land at an air force base after 12 planes landed there yesterday in the same base in southern Israel, as translated by SadaNews.
Meanwhile, Reshet Kan reported that a full squadron of these planes will be in Israel within days.
It was pointed out that these planes landed in Israel as part of U.S. preparations for an attack on Iran.
This is considered exceptional outside U.S. borders.
It was reported that in the last 24 hours, transport planes, refueling aircraft, and a passenger plane used by the U.S. military to transport soldiers to various locations around the world, some of whom are likely technicians, maintenance workers, armaments, and operations personnel, have also arrived at the same base in the south, expected to provide support for the combat squadron.
It was noted that the Israeli Air Force Commander Tomer Bar visited the site today.
Meanwhile, Axios reported from a U.S. official stating that the Trump administration demands Iran agree to an indefinite duration for any nuclear agreement.
The site quoted U.S. envoy Steve Wittekov as saying that if an agreement is reached, the Trump administration wants discussions regarding Iran's missile program.
He indicated that Trump might accept symbolic uranium enrichment if the Iranians assure that they will not develop a nuclear weapon.
The site reported that Wittekov and Kushner will discuss in Geneva with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi a detailed proposal for the nuclear agreement drafted by Iran.
Araghchi stated that reaching a fair, just, and balanced agreement is attainable.
He added: Our armed forces are ready to perform their duty, and we know how to defend ourselves as we did last time. We have learned many lessons from the last war, and therefore we are more prepared today.
The Iranian Foreign Minister saw that there is an opportunity tomorrow in Geneva to reach an agreed upon, fair, and balanced solution.
He said: There is no military option for resolving the peaceful nuclear issue, and we are ready to answer any questions, concerns, or ambiguities regarding it. We are not ready to give up our right to the peaceful use of nuclear technology.
He added: Our preparedness for war is not a desire for it but a means to prevent it, and the path we have taken is the best possible way to resolve the nuclear issue.
He considered that President Trump has become a victim of fake news, and we are not developing weapons that reach the United States.
He said: We intentionally limited the range of our missiles to 2000 kilometers and this is only for self-defense and deterrence.
