Attacks by Settlers and Occupation Forces in the West Bank and Jerusalem
SadaNews - Settlers attacked today, Thursday, the "Marj Sia" area west of the village of al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the settlers attacked the area and assaulted citizens' vehicles, causing damage to the glass of one vehicle, before citizens confronted them and forced them to withdraw.
Later, Israeli occupation forces stormed the western entrance of the village, erected a military checkpoint, searched citizens' vehicles, and checked their identities. They then proceeded to close the entrance, preventing vehicles from entering or exiting the village.
Occupation forces also closed the iron gate at the entrance of the village of Makmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, coinciding with an attack by settlers on citizens' vehicles near the Makmas roundabout.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation forces closed the "iron gate" at the entrance of Makmas, causing disruption to the movement of citizens, while settlers assaulted citizens' vehicles at the roundabout near the village entrance, with no injuries or damages reported to the vehicles.
The village of Makmas and the nearby Bedouin settlement of "Khalet al-Sadrah" are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, which include assaults on citizens, destruction and burning of homes, barns, and vehicles, and the vandalism of solar panels and surveillance cameras, with some being confiscated.
