He added, according to SadaNews translation: "In a joint effort by the occupation army and border police, under the guidance of the Shin Bet security service, the forces arrested in the village of Saffa the Palestinian who carried out the shooting for hunting purposes earlier today (Saturday) near the security fence adjacent to the Hashmonaim checkpoint."

The suspect has been transferred to the Israeli occupation police for further procedures.
