Widespread Arrest Campaign Executed by the Occupation in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread arrest campaign at dawn on Tuesday in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

The arrests targeted five Palestinians from the town of Deir Ghassoun north of Tulkarem, namely: Jamal Muhammad Badia, Sheikh Aaid Jumaa, Youssef Hatim Al-Qab, Aiham Imad Qatto, and Abdul Ghani Khadr.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Baqa al-Sharqiya and arrested the young man Wahid Muhammad Khalaf, in addition to arresting the young man Raed Harsha from the town of Qafin north of Tulkarem.

In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested the young man Fadi Abu Khdeijah while he was passing through a surprise military checkpoint near the city. They also raided the city of Nablus through the Awarta checkpoint east of the city, stormed the town of Beita south of it, and searched citizens' homes.

The incursions extended to the town of Tuqu' southeast of Bethlehem, and the towns of Jayyous north of Qalqilya, Azoun east of it, and Senyria to the south, in addition to a wide search of citizens' homes in the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, and the storming of the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin.

Today, the occupation forces arrested nine citizens from the town of Tuqu' southeast of Bethlehem.

Security sources indicated that the occupation forces stormed several citizens' homes in the town, searched them, and arrested: Muhammad Ziad al-Amour, Ahmad Issam al-Amour, Tamer Saleem al-Badan (35 years old), Muhammad Imad al-Amour (33 years old), Riyad Talal al-Amour (22 years old), Aseid Awad Allah al-Amour (18 years old), Muhammad Khalid al-Amour (22 years old), Mamoun Ibrahim al-Amour, and Osama Salem Jibril.

The same sources added that the occupation forces stormed the village of al-Masara south of Bethlehem, raided the home of citizen Obada Zawahra, vandalized its contents, and physically assaulted him.
