The Occupation Decides to Demolish More Homes in Noor Shams Camp
SadaNews - The Israeli army announced on Tuesday evening that the commander of the Central Region "West Bank," Avi Blout, signed a decision to demolish several buildings in Noor Shams camp in Tulkarm, northern West Bank, under the pretext of "operational and necessary needs."
It noted that residents will be granted the opportunity to evacuate their belongings.
According to a statement from the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, the camps in northern West Bank are considered centers of gravity for "terrorist" activities from within population gatherings.
It indicated that its forces are working to prevent the re-establishment of "terrorists" in the camps, especially in northern West Bank, claiming that they continue to find ammunition, weapons, and explosives used by armed groups which pose a threat to their forces and their operational freedom.
