Widespread Arrests in the West Bank Governorates Targeting at Least 40 Citizens
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread arrest campaign from last night until this morning, targeting at least 40 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Prisoners' Club explained that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, and Bethlehem, while the rest were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Jenin, Salfit, and Qalqilya. In addition, the occupation forces carried out field interrogation operations in several towns and detained dozens of young men.
It pointed out that the arrest and field interrogation operations are accompanied by widespread acts of abuse and assaults against the detainees and their families, as well as direct gunfire aimed at killing, using detainees as hostages, in addition to extensive destruction and vandalism of citizens' homes.
It is worth mentioning that the occupation authorities are continuing to carry out arrests, which are among the most prominent systematic policies they execute daily against citizens, encompassing all segments of Palestinian society, with the number of arrests in the West Bank reaching approximately (21,000) cases after the genocide war.
