The Most Important Developmental and Reform Interventions of the Government Last Week
SadaNews - The Government Communication Center issued a report highlighting the most important developmental and reform interventions implemented by the Palestinian government during the past week (30/11/2025 – 06/12/2025), as follows:
Based on the instructions of the President, Prime Minister Dr. Mohamed Mustafa directed various competent authorities during last Tuesday's weekly Cabinet session to intensify their efforts to meet the needs of our people in the targeted areas, particularly in the Tubas Governorate, which has been subjected to widespread aggression by the occupation army.
The Minister of Agriculture discussed with his Jordanian counterpart the role of the Jordanian-Palestinian company in developing the agricultural marketing system and benefiting from the surplus Jordanian production, in addition to reviewing the Jordanian experience in earthen dams and horizontal containment. The minister also participated as a keynote speaker in the "Mediterranean Agricultural Food Innovation Week 2025" in Italy. The ministry held a specialized workshop on water allocation in the Al-Badhan Basin as part of the Water Scarcity Initiative (WSI) funded by SIDA and implemented by FAO in partnership with the ministry and the Water Authority. The ministry and the Agricultural Relief Association provided the necessary supplies for constructing grape arbors for 60 farmers in the southern and northern Hebron as part of the Grape Value Chain Improvement Project funded by WFP. They also began inspecting and introducing potato seeds for the 2025/2026 season. The ministry signed the sixth batch of "Mab 2 Project" agreements worth 10.6 million shekels, including 30 farmer support agreements in 9 governorates, funded by the governments of Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, and the European Union, with parallel funding from Italy. The ministry started discussions with FAO on the recovery plan for the agricultural sector in the southern governorates, and distributed field school equipment in seven locations in the Jerusalem Governorate funded by the Jerusalem Development Agency. Two training courses were implemented in the Eastern Nazlah and Shweika-Tulkarem as part of the Livelihood Improvement Project funded by Islamic Relief/France, along with a training lecture for beneficiaries of olive field schools in northern Hebron on pressing olives with soda, in addition to a workshop to launch the
