Young man injured by occupation bullets in Beit Hanina
SadaNews - A young man was injured by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces this evening, Tuesday, in the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the young man was injured by the bullets of the occupation forces near the separation and racial expansion wall in Beit Hanina, with no information available on the severity of his injury.
Local sources mentioned that the occupation forces chased a number of workers near the separation and racial expansion wall and opened fire on them, leading to the injury of one of them.
Since the beginning of this year, 15 workers have been martyred by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces, either during pursuit inside the 1948 territories or from falling off the separation and racial expansion wall, according to data from the General Union of Palestinian Workers.
In recent months, hundreds of workers have been subjected to arrest and abuse by the Israeli police, under the pretext of not having permits.
Since October 2023, the union has documented the martyrdom of 42 workers, and more than 32,000 cases of arrests among workers.
