Silent March in Kfar Yasif Protesting the Murder of Student Nabil Safia
SadaNews - This morning, Tuesday, a silent march began from the "Yeni Yeni" secondary school in Kfar Yasif, attended by students, teachers, and parents, in protest of the murder of student Nabil Ashraf Safia (15 years old), who succumbed to his injuries after being shot on November 27, while he was on a short outing within the town.
This march was initiated by students, in cooperation with the Parents’ Committee and the local council in Kfar Yasif, aiming to support students psychologically in the aftermath of the crime and to express their sorrow for the loss of their colleague.
Participants carried pictures of the late student Nabil Safia, alongside banners with slogans condemning violence and crime. They also wore black attire as a sign of mourning and anger, affirming their ongoing rejection of the escalating manifestations of violence in society.
The demonstrators also sent messages emphasizing that violence now threatens everyone without exception, stating that silence is no longer an option, and calling on the relevant authorities to assume their responsibilities to ensure the safety of students and all community members.
